Alpha Whale - Product Guide

Getting Started: Onboarding

When you first arrive at Alpha Whale, you'll go through a quick onboarding process to set up your account:

• Connect Your Wallet - Link your crypto wallet to access the platform
• Fund Your Account - Deposit funds to start trading
• Explore the Dashboard - Once onboarded, you'll land on your main dashboard where you can see your positions, track performance, and access all features

Core Features

My Positions

Your Positions page is your portfolio command center. Here you can:

View Active Positions

• See all your current trades at a glance
• Each position shows the market, your stake, current value, and profit/loss (P&L)
• The P&L chart at the top gives you a visual overview of your performance over time

Filter & Sort

• Use the search bar to quickly find specific positions
• Sort by:
  • Top Gains - Your best performing positions first
  • Top Losses - Positions that need attention
  • Most Recent - Latest trades
  • Oldest - Your longest-held positions

Manage Positions

• Close individual positions when you're ready to exit
• Use "Close All" to exit all positions at once

History Tab

• Review all your past trades
• See realized P&L from closed positions
• Same sorting options to analyze your trading history

Markets

The Markets page is where you discover trading opportunities:

• Browse all available prediction markets
• See current odds and trading volume
• Search for specific topics or events
• Click into any market to view details and place trades

Copy Trading

Don't want to pick every trade yourself? Copy Trading lets you automatically mirror the trades of successful traders.

How It Works

• Browse available traders and their performance stats
• Click "Add Trader" to start copying someone
• Set your allocation - how much capital to dedicate to copying this trader
• Once active, every trade they make is automatically replicated in your account

Managing Copy Trades

View all traders you're copying from the Copy Trades dashboard:

• See aggregate performance across all copied traders
• Filter by:
  • All - Every trader you've added
  • Active - Currently copying
  • Paused - Temporarily stopped
• Sort by:
  • Top Earners - Best performing traders
  • Top Losers - Underperforming traders
  • Most Active - Traders making frequent trades
  • Least Active - Traders trading less often
  • Most Recent - Recently added
  • Oldest - Longest relationships

Individual Trader View

Click into any copied trader to:

• See their detailed performance and P&L
• View their current positions
• Toggle between Active and Disabled status
• Edit your allocation settings

Disabling a Copy Trade

When you disable a trader:

• No new trades will be executed from that trader
• Your existing positions from their trades remain open
• You can manually close those positions or let them resolve naturally

Bonding Strategies

Bonding is Alpha Whale's automated trading system. Think of it as setting up trading rules that execute automatically based on predefined criteria.

How Bonding Works

• Create a bonding strategy with your parameters
• Allocate capital to the strategy
• The system automatically executes trades based on your strategy rules
• Monitor performance and adjust as needed

The Bonding Dashboard

• Performance Chart - Visual P&L tracking over time (Daily, Weekly, Monthly views)
• Current Allocation - How much capital is deployed in bonding strategies
• Total P&L - Your returns from bonding activities

Managing Strategies

• Filter by All, Active, or Paused strategies
• Sort by:
  • Top Earners - Best performing strategies
  • Top Losers - Underperforming strategies
  • Most Active - Strategies trading frequently
  • Least Active - Lower activity strategies
  • Most Recent - Newest strategies
  • Oldest - Long-running strategies

Positions Tab

View all open positions created by your bonding strategies:

• See which strategy created each position
• Track individual position P&L
• Sort by Top Gains, Top Losses, Most Recent, or Oldest

History Tab

Review completed trades from your bonding strategies:

• Analyze which strategies are performing best
• See realized gains and losses
• Use sorting to identify patterns

Individual Strategy View

Click into any strategy to:

• See detailed performance metrics
• Toggle Active/Disabled status
• Edit strategy parameters
• View positions and history specific to that strategy

Trader Profiles

Want to research a trader before copying them? Trader Profiles give you deep insight:

Profile Overview

• Trader's overall P&L and return percentage
• Historical performance chart
• Win rate and trade frequency

Positions Tab

See what they're currently trading:

• Filter by Active or Closed positions
• Sort by Highest Value, Lowest Value, Top Gains, or Top Losses

Activity Tab

Review their recent trading activity and patterns

Actions

• Watch - Add to your watchlist to monitor without copying
• Copy - Start copying their trades immediately

Alerts

Stay informed with custom alerts:

• Create alerts for specific market conditions
• Get notified when prices hit your targets
• Never miss an opportunity

Setting Up Alerts

• Click "New Alert" from the Alerts page
• Select the market or condition to monitor
• Set your trigger criteria
• Save and wait for notifications

Fees & Tiers

Alpha Whale uses a tier-based fee structure that rewards active traders with lower fees and higher cashback rates. The more you trade, the better your rates become.

How Points Work

Your tier is determined by points you accumulate through trading activity. Here's how to earn points:

• Trading Volume - Earn points based on your trading activity
• Referrals - Earn points when people you refer start trading
• Copy Trading - Earn points when others copy your trades

Points accumulate over time and never expire. As you reach new point thresholds, you automatically unlock better fee rates and higher cashback percentages.

Trading Tiers

Your tier is determined by your accumulated points. Here's the complete breakdown:

Affiliate Program

Alpha Whale's affiliate program lets you earn commissions by inviting others to trade. It's a powerful way to build passive income while helping others discover the platform.

How It Works

1. Get Your Referral Code - Find your unique referral code in the Rewards & Referrals section of the app
2. Share Your Link - Copy your referral link and share it with friends, on social media, or anywhere you'd like
3. Earn Commissions - When someone signs up using your link and trades, you earn a percentage of their trading fees
4. Track Your Earnings - Monitor your referral count, total earnings, and withdrawable balance in the app

Benefits for New Users

When someone uses your referral code to sign up, they receive 10% off trading fees - so it's a win-win for both of you!

Commission Rates

Earn commissions across three levels of referrals:

• Level 1 Referrals (people who sign up with your link) - 25% of their trading fees
• Level 2 Referrals (people your referrals invite) - 3% of their trading fees
• Level 3 Referrals (people those referrals invite) - 2% of their trading fees

Earnings Dashboard

Track your affiliate performance in real-time:

• Cashback Balance - Earnings from your own trading cashback
• Commission Balance - Earnings from your referrals' trading fees
• Total Withdrawable - Combined balance available for withdrawal
• Referral Earnings - Breakdown of earnings from L1, L2, and L3 referrals
• Alpha Share Earnings - Earnings from copy trade sharing

Copy Trading Commissions

Earn additional commissions when others copy your trades:

• Others Copy Your Trades - 10% of trading fees when someone copies your positions
• Alpha Sharing - Share copy trade links and earn 10% of trading fees for 30 days from each user who signs up through your shared link

Understanding Your Performance

Across the platform, you'll see consistent performance metrics:

P&L (Profit & Loss)

• Shown in dollar amounts (+$500, -$50)
• Green indicates profit, red indicates loss

Return Percentage

• Displayed below the dollar amount (+15.5%, -3.2%)
• Shows your performance relative to invested capital

Time Periods

• Toggle between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views
• Track how your performance changes over time

Charts

• Visual representation of P&L over your selected time period
• Gradient fill shows the trend direction
• Hover for detailed data points
